Shot Notes

It’s reached that time of the week again…. yep you guessed it! Photochallenge time :)

I don’t often look at the photochallenge.org site any other day except Friday, but this week found myself there checking out what they’d been focusing on during the week. I notice within the heading of each days subject the words “Truck Week”…. needless to say I was less than impressed. Feelings aside I did have a couple of ideas about what I could capture for an impending Truck themed weekend.

Friday came with the theme “Truck logo” which kind of fit into the ideas that I’d had some days earlier, however much to my dismay the truck that I’d hoped to capture was not in its usual spot.

The image that I’ve posted might not strictly be classed as a Truck Logo, however with no other options available I post this image.

One Response to “Truck”

I think your interpretation of a “truck logo” works quite well. More often than not, urban communities are loaded with examples such as yours above. Being challenged to create something artistic and that stands alone as art can be wonderful and growth-inducing.

often our themes at PhotoChallenge.org vary from the common to the abstract. When we see regular, everyday themes, I revel at the creativity of many contributors. It’s often those themes that can create a whole new world of photographic possibilities for the artist.

    Well done.
