Good fish bad fish Launch Party

We had the pleasure of going along to the goodfishbadfish.com.au launch party on Sunday afternoon. Beth & Oliver have worked tirelessly over the last few months preparing content and working with the web designers to turn their idea into a reality. GoodFishBadFish is a website put together by Beth & Oliver, two friends of ours that are passionate about sustainable seafood.  It’s a place for consumers to visit for up-to-date and interesting information on the area of sustainable seafood.

Lysterfield Adventure Race Teaser

Here are a few quick edits from last weekends Kathmandu Adventure Race at Lysterfield Lake Park in Victoria.

It was a perfect day for it, with the sun out and shining for what feels like such a long time. The scenery and conditions couldn’t have been any better really.

I arrive at 6.30am to catch some of the build up, with the race beginning at 9am. Some 4hrs later with the last of the competitors running through the finish line it was all over. I had a blast and learnt a few lessons about covering something like this that I will certainly put into practice for future events I’m able to shoot. A perfect example would be… ride a bike around the track rather than run it :) I think as a consequence I missed a couple of things I’d liked to have captured, but you can’t win them all.

I’ve only done some very brief edits to these files so they are a bit raw… the final set should be on Flickr with a week. I also intend on using a selection as the second section of my folio for school.
