Took the new 14-24mm out for a test run the other night down to ACCA in South Melbourne.
I took this while in Martinborough getting married earlier this year. We were lucky enough to enjoy these wonderful plains backed by the Tararua Ranges.

Coming back to some more abstraction today with this image. I took this from my window seat on a flight back to NZ about a month back. The colours and graduation from light to dark are wonderful to view from that hight.
Occasionally I go against the grain of my ‘normal’ shooting methods and get a little abstract. This is one of those times. I was out walking the CBD last Thursday and spotted this and just had to take the picture. I love the ripples and deep dark colours coming through.
There is a spot on Bourke Street I really enjoy sitting at and watching the world and people go by. I love all the little observations that you make when you are lost in your own head space… day dreaming… watching. I really enjoyed the way the wonderfully blue sky was reflecting in the path, [...]
