Back again with a new image from KL. Had I been given a tiny bit more time to take this shot I would have loved to get the composition a little more level… but I just couldn’t risk her moving so had to ‘shoot from the hip’ on this one. Take my attention to detail out of [...]
This was taken at the central market in KL, around the Chinatown area. It was quite an upmarket one. I loved the raft of colours bursting out of the shops down the dimly lit corridors.
It’s not until sitting here uploading this image have I noticed what this image is…. A photograph of a man, painting a photograph of a man :p Completely unintentional. This artist had some wonderful paintings in his small work space. Much more talented that I.

KL is a stark contrast from Singapore which was the final leg of our trip, having much dirtier and run down street pretty much everywhere. This for me adds to the character of a city, and certainly made streets of [...]
Well this will begin what is sure to be a long series of images from our honeymoon to Malaysia and Singapore. As the title says this was a little side walk in Kuala Lumpur, from memory this was in between the Chinatown and Little India districts of the city. It was a wonderful trip and [...]
